How to get setup with UnionPay Direct
Setting you up for UnionPay is very simple. There are two options available – either processing through the Worldline (formerly Paymark) network or through our UnionPay Direct add on. If your merchant bank can act as your acquirer, you’ll just need the latest software on compatible terminals and you can accept UnionPay through the Paymark network in the same way you do a Visa or Mastercard payment.
If your bank doesn’t support UnionPay, we can offer you UnionPay Direct on your existing terminal. Sign the merchant agreement with UnionPay, download the software to the Smartpay terminal and you are up and running.
To get UnionPay Direct on your Smartpay EFTPOS terminal, simply complete the Merchant Agreement form and return to sales@smartpay.co.nz or fax to 09 442 0622

Got a call from the TL today regarding the service, it was so nice to see the prompt response to help customers with any grievances.Had a very bad experience Monday night, usually Smartpay does above exceptional service but this time I came across a rep who did not want to help but kept telling what things they can't support. I worked in tech support, and there is something called probing. You ask questions like what is not working instead of shutting off your customer saying, we don't support that.Otherwise Smartpay is always so good.

Smartpay guys are really good, they have excellent customer skills, and they know how to respect their customer. I spoke to Pam L, an agent who assisted me to get my Eftpos machines, she was absolutely amazing, she followed through patiently till the end and was so gracious with all the queries and doubts. She is certainly someone who has a great heart and attitude.Also when I reached outside the hours of pickup, the other agent actually came out of the office and waited for me to handed over the device to me...
